Based in downtown Jersey City, emily august specializes in event photography focused on capturing candid, amazing moments.W e have expertise in sharing your photos through social networking streams and helping build a positive, interactive experience for your guests. Emily began by shooting friends, bands, artists, and musicians, but in the last few years has expanded to shoot a few weddings and countless events. Her style is laid back, observant, and smart, with an ability to bring out the best in her subjects.

Emily August is the official photographer for monthly art openings at LITM in Jersey City, and one of the main photographers chosen to shoot annually for Willie Mae Rock ‘n Roll Camp for Girls in Brooklyn. Emily has also volunteered photography services in the past with Liberty Humane Society in Jersey City (which is a fantastic organization you should check out –they are always looking for volunteers)!
