Project Update

* A photo of mine was requested for use on the web site for a charity in the UK, A.Y.M.E. which stands for the Association of Young people with ME. It’s a chronic illness which can leave people bed or house bound for months or years. They have had a donation of a ton of sunflower seeds and are going to be making these available to housebound young persons with the disease, so that they can watch the flowers grow. *Strange that this should occur a mere few hours after a long lunchtime discussion about doing good for others.
Tonight I forgot my wallet, all of my identification, and my FIT student ID, so I started to freak out a little bit. I didn’t want to be kept from attending class, since security was a little tight last week, and they had insisted on having identification at the front desk (being an ex-R.A., maybe I take these things too seriously). Anyway, I got the desk and was very apologetic about forgetting my wallet–the only thing I had was a card showing my blood type with my name spelled out in type. The woman carefully wrote me out a visitors pass and then took a scrap of paper and wrote this (spelling inclusive) very slowly and meaningfully:
I have the armor of Strenght
I am Not Stress
Glory to God
She handed me the pass, and the slip of paper and gave me a most kind smile.
