resolution
Posted in uncategorized on January 19th, 2007 by emily august – Be the first to commentSo, its been about half a month since the New Year started, and I’ve got plans to keep my resolutions. I have a few projects that I’ve been planning on starting–some for years, now. I also have personal stuff I’d love to clear up, but sometimes those things can be overwhelming. I think the secret is to make a game plan and then break it up into tiny little kitten steps. The end result will far outweigh whatever trouble it takes you to get there.
I’m trying to trick myself into being productive and happy, even when things feel impossible and seem to be a lot of work. A friend and I were looking up flights to London earlier in the week. We thought we had found a cheap escape, but then it turned out that taxes would drive the cost up beyond our budget. It was nice for one afternoon to think about passport photos, and what to pack. Rory and I have been psuedo-planning a trip to Berlin next year, as well. I think these dream plans are a good way to get myself together enough to pay off my credit cards and figure out a way to make things happen.
